The Dalai Lama is visiting Puerto Rico these days. I heard him today through the TV. He was asked what was our individual responsibility towards world peace. His answer was simple: Inner Peace. There's no other way to do it. Gandhi also said that we should be the change we want to see in the world. But we think is the other way around. We want the goverments and our leaders to make this world a safer and peaceful one. But it doesn't work like that. It is our work, by getting there individually to make of this world a safer one. " Im only one", you may say. That's true. But one plus one plus one plus one...make a lot. I believe in the power of one. After all I can only be responsible of what is mine to do. That is my first and sole responsibility...
